The Orange Prize for fiction is awarded
annually for the best work of fiction with a women author. Its past recipients
include Carol Shields, Ann Patchett, Kate Grenville, Valerie Martin, Andrea
Levy, Suzanne Berne, Helen Dunmore, Anne Michaels, and most recently Lionel
Shriver.
