The Bram Stoker Award

for Best Horror Novel

 

The Bram Stoker award is given each year to works of horror in various categories. The most important being the annual award for best horror novel. They are awarded for "superior achievement" by the members of the professional Horror Writer's Association. Past winners include Stephen King, Janet Berliner, Neil Gaiman, Thomas Harris, Richard Laymon, Robert McCammon, Joyce Carol Oates, Tom Piccirilli, Dan Simmons and Peter Straub.
